We came in on Saturday at 6:30pm without a reservation and were immediately seated at the bar for 2 ppl. The inside is beautiful (pic attached) and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the plants were pretty and real. I was a bit worried it would be hard for us to flag down a waiter or bartender since we were in the corner and it was pretty busy, but they checked in on us frequently. We ordered the hummus with chicken and it was very filling and delicious! The pine nuts added some texture which I enjoyed. The lamb chops were soft, tasty, and juicy as well. The kafta kebab was okay, but I'd recommend trying something else since it was a bit dry. They gave us a lot of different sauces and free refills of the pita bread which was nice! Overall, would definitely recommend coming here and trying out this place.

We had Gio and he gave us the best experience! Not only was the food phenomenal but the attention from the staff was top tier. We had the Fattoush Salad and Mixed Grilled Platter. Having the food allergy of gluten, having options like this restaurant is amazing! Loved the overall atmosphere. Highly recommend as it had all the best options in high quality food and experience!!

Best restaurant in New York City! I love all the sauces they bring out and typically you try Mediterranean food you try them all --not this one. Au Za'atar has its own unique flavour.

this location is by far better compared to the east village location! a lot more vibey, fancy, and feels newer. service was great! super friendly hosts that explained our options and dishes to us nicely. as always, loved the food here. the filet mignon was the table favorite, but the chicken was also delicious! my favorite to eat with the bread here is always the whipped garlic. i didn't love the fries - that may have been the only item i didn't like. my friend loves the falafels here but they are a bit crunchy for me. also loved the pie! i can't remember the dish's name but it had ground beef and cheese. delicious.

One of my favorite restaurants! This was the 3rd of 4th (I don't remember) time I have dined here and it never disappoints. I usually order one of the vegetarian samplers, which are amazing and are more than enough for 2 people, but this last time I was with a friend who is not a big vegetable fan. I ordered my favorite muhammara, which I loved, as always, and the vegetable kebab, which was good. The bread is always amazing, as are the martinis. My friend had one of the flatbreads and we had an order of batata harra, also delicious. The service was excellent and the place is beautiful. I am looking forward to returning.

This place is huge and the lines are long. Once you taste the food you'll know exactly why. The service here is great. My friend and I had Aleks as our server and he was on top of us all night making sure we were enjoying our food! We had so many different things ranging from a salad to flatbread to fries and more. I can't remember what we ordered exactly but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The food was incredible and did not leave you feeling bloated. They also give you plenty of dips on the house as well as pita to eat your food with. Their hummus is to die for! I really hope to be back

Service was great. Arthur helped us and he was friendly and patient. I accompanied a friend despite me not being hungry, of course I had to order something. I ordered the shish tawook salad. Oh my goodness that chicken was so tender and flavorful, probably the best I've ever had. Highly recommend you try it. They also make fresh bread which is always a plus. The restaurant inside is gorgeous, I love it. We were sat as soon as we arrived so wait time around 7pm or so wasn't bad at all. Overall I would recommend it. Wondering about parking? Well as always, it's better for you to get dropped off or take the train or bus unless you want to drive around looking for parking.

Had it not have been for the service I would have been happy to give them five stars. I don't usually start off with the service but this time I am. My girlfriends and I met here for dinner - we were promptly seated and waited about fifteen to twenty minutes for a menu until my girlfriend asked for one. When I arrived there wasn't anyone at the door to greet me or acknowledge my presence. I stood there for a few minutes before the bartender came over to me. I waited for my girlfriends at the bar. While waiting I ordered the Lebanese Please cocktail. 10 out of 10! It wasn't too sweet and had a kick to it. Maybe the bartender took pity on me for having to stand there so long but if that's the case I'm glad if he did. Our waitress came over to take our drink orders and she seemed like she was afraid of us or something - she spoke very softly and stood away from the table like she didn't want to get too close. A few minutes later she came back with a different waiter to tell us he was going to wait on us. We said ok thinking her shift was over but it wasn't. Every time our waiter came over to take an order she would run over too - it was so weird. Also even the waiter spoke so softly we could barely hear him. When it was time for the bill the waitress came to hand us the check - by this point we were totally confused as to what was going on since she didn't leave like we thought maybe she didn't want to serve us? I don't know but it was totally confusing. Onto the food......we started with hummus and grilled chicken wings. The hummus comes with the softest, fluffiest pita I have EVER had. Both the wings and the hummus were really good - no complaints there. We had to get the lamb shawarma tower - again another hit! The lamb was moist and well seasoned and those fries were to die for! For dessert we shared the pyramid and chocolate mousse cake - they were both really good as well. Considering the price point of this restaurant I would think the service would be a little better than what we experienced but the food made up for it.

This location is much better than the East Village one, given its selection is much more expansive. However, when you come at dinner time and it's busy expect they will bring all your food very quickly so your once small spacious table will be overloaded with food. The food overall is very good, definitely will need to come back to give all the various items a try.
